AVENGED SEVENFOLD TAKING OVER THE STUDIO.

Im very excited because I just got word that AVENGED SEVENFOLD is coming into the OROCK 1059 studio Tuesday October 30th--day their New CD DROPS! They are bringing in their own MUSIC library and picking from the Orock tunes...So no telling what they are going to play!
Im crossing my fingers that they tie me up somehow and take over--BUT a girl can dream right?

Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor will release his next album, a collaboration with influential poet, rapper and political activist Saul Williams, on Thursday. Last year, the two began working together on the album, which Williams describes as "a middle finger up to the idea of genre." They're also giving the middle finger to record labels, much as Radiohead recently did, by releasing the album -- titled The Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust -- as a digital download via NiggyTardust-dot-com. Reznor says that the biggest difference between this release and Radiohead's is that Niggy Tardust comes in a higher quality format more similar to a C-D

The hoopla around next month's Led Zeppelin reunion show now includes two contests:
* Unsigned bands from the United States who submit a performance video to Ziddio-dot-com stand a chance of winning a trip to London, tickets to the concert, a gig at the VIP after-party and a stack of Gibson guitar gear.
* Ziddio is also running a contest to name Led Zeppelin's "biggest fan." The winner of this video contest and a guest win a trip to the show. Entrants are asked to demonstrate or explain their fandom on video. If the winner mentions a radio personality in the video, the D-J gets to go, too! The submission deadline for both contests is November 4th.
